Everything you need to know is included in your suncatcher packaging!

• ​Choose a window that gets direct sunlight (No sun = no rainbows)

• Clean the glass and spray it with water

• Peel the backing off (with care to not leave fingerprints behind!) and place in desired position. Adjust slightly if necessary.

• Gently squeegee out water and air bubbles starting from the centre, working outward. And wipe away any excess water.

• If your sticker looks a bit cloudy, not to worry. This will clear up in a few days.

Yes they certainly are. Our suncatchers are easy to remove and don’t leave behind residue. So they’re also definitely suitable for rental houses!

Sure! The suncatchers can be carefully removed and reapplied elsewhere if need be. We recommend only moving it a few times, as the sticker can start to get foggy. Just be mindful of putting fingerprints on the back of the sticker as you move its position.

We recommend first having a good look at all the windows in your space and taking note of where the sun falls throughout the day.

Direct sunlight is a must for suncatchers. If the suncatcher can’t see the sun, you won’t see any rainbows! 

One thing to note is that even though you will need direct sunlight - the sunniest spot in the house is not necessarily the best place to put your suncatcher. A room that is soaked in ambient light may actually produce slightly more dull rainbows.

Unfortunately not. Our decal materials are not designed for outdoor use, and you won't have much success with getting good rainbows outdoors anyway! So best to keep these on indoor windows. We also warn against using our suncatchers in your car as this can present a distraction to the driver.

Not to worry! The good news is these decals do work, and they never stop working! It’s simply a matter of positioning, weather and time of year. 

​A few things to consider:

​Ensure you have placed your suncatcher on a window in direct sunlight. Ambient light unfortunately won’t do the trick, the suncatcher needs to be able to directly see the sun.

Cloudy or rainy days will affect your rainbow show. But that's ok - the rainbows will return in time.

Make sure you’ve taken care to clean the window well.

Choose a clear window; nothing frosted, stained or tinted.

You may want to switch up your suncatcher’s positioning if you find you aren’t having much success with rainbows!
